SCULPTRA

Sculptra is an injectable implant designed to combat facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) and indicated for correction of shallow to deep facial wrinkles and facial contour deficiency by stimulating your cells to produce their own collagen. The result gives a more youthful and natural-looking appearance. It is also used for cheek augmentation and submalar volumizing.

ADMINISTRATION OF Sculptra

SCULPTRA® is a facial injectable that works gradually using a series of treatments. To produce a refined, more youthful appearance, an average of 3 injection sessions with 4 – 6 weeks interval between each session is required.

SCULPTRA® does not use any human or animal components, so no allergy testing is needed prior to treatments.

SCULPTRA is to be reconstituted with 5 mL of Water for Injection (available from Anna’s Cosmetics on request) at a minimum of 2 hours prior to use. The depth of injection and quantity of the product used depend on the treated area and the result expected. In general, SCULPTRA® is injected into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer with a 26G needle using cross-hatch injection technique (deep dermal grid pattern).

THE PACK CONSISTS OF:

2 x 5ml vials
Poly-L-lactic acid

• Restore lost facial collagen and volume
• Reduce facial lines, wrinkles and folds
• Sculptra replaces lost collagen in the middle to lower face and chin area such as:
  -Temples
  -Nasolabial folds
  -Tear throughs
  -Marionette lines
  -Pre-Jowl Sulcus or Pre-Jowl fold – a little known area on either side of our chin.
  -Mandibular line – the jaw line that is usually more prominent and square among males.
